Introspective photography in Coltibuono
THE WAY BACK WITHIN
The Essence of the Visible
In the millennial silence of Badia a Coltibuono, an ancient Vallombrosan abbey cradled by the woods and vineyards of Chianti, Lelia Scarfiotti offers a three-hour experience weaving together contemplative photography and mindful presence. This is not a technical workshop, but an invitation to slow down—a moment of reclaimed time to rediscover the world through a deeper, more intentional lens.
The Experience
The journey unfolds amidst the shadows of the centuries-old chestnut grove and the hidden corners of the abbey, where breath aligns with the rhythms of nature. Beneath the boughs of the monumental cedar tree or within the chiaroscuro of the cloister, the camera lens becomes a quiet spell to return to oneself. Guided by Lelia, you will learn to discern the subtle beauty in landscape details and garden geometries—a beauty that nourishes the soul and sparks a newfound visual joy.
The Value of the Path
At the end of the encounter, you will carry home a simple practice to integrate into daily life. Photography is thus transformed into a tool for resilience: a precious ally to regain calm and clarity during stressful moments, teaching you to embrace life with the same sense of wonder that breathes within these historic walls.
